So I decided to make a calendar


In it you’ll find twelve of my favorite bird photographs from the past year, plus a bonus image I couldn’t let go of for the cover. Each one is paired with a month in a way that, hopefully, feels thematically fitting as the seasons change.


I’m using a print-on-demand service called Gelato and hosting the calendar through my Etsy shop. The proof copy I ordered came out surprisingly solid. I’ve priced it at twenty-five dollars, which after Etsy and print costs puts about thirteen dollars in my pocket per sale.


To be completely transparent, this isn’t about profit. It’s just a way to make my work available at an approachable price, and maybe let a few birds live on your wall for a while.
